Anime: How Clumsy You Are, Miss Ueno - Episode 4
Malfunctioning robot girl's name: Ueno 13
Scene description: Ueno's plan of having Tanaka search for her goes wrong as the obviously robotic duplicate of herself is being seen as the real one by the boy and seems to be having more of a closer relationship than herself by having her hair stroked. While stroking the pretty robot's "hair", Tanaka tells the robot (who he still thinks is the real Ueno) that she's been acting weird today and that she can tell any problems that she has to him or to Yamashita. As a response, the Ueno 13 stands up and faces to Tanaka and, while following his advice, was about to ask about his feelings about Ueno when the real one embarassingly comes out and repeatedly beats the robot's head to make her stop speaking, only for the robot to briefly stop then keep repeating the question everytime that she's interupted until Ueno's beating damaged the robot (cued by the sound effect of breaking), causing her to malfunction and ends up freezing her position while she's stuck repeatedly calling Tanaka's name as Ueno drags the pretty yet malfunctioning robot, leaving the boy confused.
NOTE: The question mark on the title is there because this might seem of a stretch to the viewers. I had the same thought at first but the sound effect and the fact that the cover Ueno used to beat up her duplicate isn't broken nor dented makes it like the robot broke. Another thing that made me think that she is malfunctioning is that, after the beating, she is stuck in the same position and calls Tanaka's name over and over and not bothering to finish the sentence despite not being interupted by Ueno's beating anymore.
