Newlyweds Maddie and Parker move into a Victorian house in Los Angeles. While settling in, they discover an antique camera containing a plate with a photograph of a young woman, and a bundle of love letters written by someone named Rebecca. Deciding to read one letter a day, the couple gradually uncovers her story, while Parker begins seeing a ghost appearing at night.
