Lyrics
Verse 1:
Moments
Things we do not mean to happen
It's like we’re getting back to being normal again
I hate that things like this would have to end
Spaces
There’s nothing but an awkward silence
Conflicted on what I should do
Don’t want to try
What even is the point when you look so dry
Pre-chorus:
Keeping in close distance but I know
There are certain feelings we don't show
Chorus:
Just for today
Pretend that both of us are doing okay
Like how we used to be before I hurt you and you hurt me
And try to do the things when we’re both happy
Just for today
Forget our problems for a little while
Even though we know we’re both not fine, honestly
I really think it's nice to feel happy
Just for today
Verse 2:
Changes
of actions is all that I’ve noticed
I’m not surprised to know that the look
between your eyes
is not the same before we said our goodbyes
Pieces
trying to forget the past
cos we went broken after that
so let’s just pretend
and see how this one ends
Pre-chorus:
Keeping in close distance but I know
There are certain feelings we don't show
Chorus:
Just for today
Pretend that both of us are doing okay
Like how we used to be before I hurt you and you hurt me
And try to do the things when we’re both happy
Just for today
Forget our problems for a little while
Even though we know we’re both not fine, honestly
I really think it's nice to feel happy
just for today
Outro:
(Even just for today)
(Even just for today)
(Just for today)
