Back when Crow was Uldren Sov, he would explore the Black Garden with his closest friend Jolyon Till, fellow Awoken and lead Crow scout under Mara Sov in the Reef. The two were close ever since their return to Sol, but have grown apart since the Black Garden and transformation of Uldren to Crow.
