How to add categories in a drop down menu in PrestaShop 1.7
Learn how to add categories in a drop down menu in PrestaShop 1.7.5 with BelVG.
Before adding new category in a drop down menu, log into your admin panel, go to Catalog - Categories and check what you already have.
Once you decide, what categories you want to add in your PrestaShop menu go to Modules - Module Manager and configure the Main Menu module. There you will find two fields: selected items (categories you already have at the frontend) and available items (categories you can add). You can move categories from one field to another.
To create a brand new category for your webstore go to Design - Pages and chose Add new CMS category. Fill in required fields, save changes and create the menu you want.
