Hotkeys for Visual Studio and Rider: Unity Efficiency | IDE Tips
This video is part of a developer series on efficiency. In this one, I'll show developers how to use shortcuts in Rider as well as configure some of most efficient ones that I use.
Using only these hotkeys in place of the mouse, you'll be much much faster at getting stuff done.
Here are the key and action shortcut pairs I'll expose and demonstrate:
Delete Line: Shift + Delete/Backspace
Next Method: Alt + Down
Search Everywhere (Jump To Symbol): Cmd/Alt + T
Select Next Tab: Cmd/Ctrl + Alt + Right
Select Previous Tab: Cmd/Ctrl + Alt + Left
Add Selection for Next Occurrence: Cmd/Ctrl + D
Declaration: Cmd/Ctrl + Shift + D
Find Usages: Cmd/Ctrl + Shift + R
Rename: Cmd + R, Cmd + R
Show Intention Actions: Alt + Enter
Collapse: Ctrl + Alt + Left
Expand: Ctrl + Alt + Right
