Back with an original meme after a while! This time I’ve attempted bringing back the frame by frame storytelling as well as some simplistic tweening, wrapped in a bow of a one minute animation meme. You’re free to create your own version, as long as you provide some credit and mind the fact the storytelling isn’t taken inspiration of.
~~ STORYTELLING EXPLANATION ~~
For those who aren’t familiar with either of the three books, Claws of Rage is a fanfiction book-series based on Ben Bocquelet's "The Amazing World of Gumball".
The books revolve around Nicole, the iconic short-tempered mother of the main character, in a different setting than what the cartoon is known for. In this alternate universe, Nicole suffers from a monstrous condition which causes her to simultaneously transform into a severe monstrous version of herself, of which the inspiration roots in canon episode "The Limit”.
// Side note: neither of the kids inherit it, plus the saga explains why.
This animation shows more about the current arc in book III, where Nicole starts getting to know more about her own past through flashbacks and what her parents tell her. The beginning focuses on when she ran away to the forest during a meltdown. The last ‘vhs-styled’ part shows her toddler and teen self; having foreshadowing nightmares and feeling built up hatred towards herself, as well as her condition slowly starting to show more on her and her parents make their decision of the excessive medication. There are some other lore-wise easter eggs hidden, which the readers most likely can find.
