Xperia 1 ii Proximity sensor problem (vs xz premium)
The sensor activates fast enough when an object is getting close but deactivates very soon even when the object is few cm away. As a result when you are on a phone call if your hand holding the phone moves a little then the screen turns on and for sure will be touched by your ear. Also when listening to whatsapp voice msgs again the screen goes on and off resulting the msg to stop playing which is really annoying. Please share your experiences to find out if it is software or hardware problem.
Maybe the numbers for you might be different based on the way you do the test. But the important part is for the sensor to deactivates at the same distance when it was activated.
