Frightening sinkholes are forming in Türkiye (145 meters!)
Giant sinkholes are forming in Türkiye and continue to do so. These sinkholes, called cenotes, are particularly prevalent in the village of Karapınar, Konya. These massive sinkholes are actually found in many parts of the world. Three unfortunate factors contribute to their formation.
