Best Beginner Synth?? Moog Mavis semi modular Review
Moog recently brought out MAVIS - an analogue, semi modular creature which has a whole variety of features packed into a tidy wee package. What's perhaps even more exciting is that it appears to be aimed squarely at the more affordable end of the market, coming in at about £339GBP/USD - meaning that it could be perfect for those starting out... a synth for beginners? Perhaps.
They kindly sent one over for me to check out, and so I put together a video looking at some of the bits and bobs and what I make of it - including seeing whether or not putting together the DIY kit is easy or not for an incompetent fool like myself.
