Control your Snapmaker 3D printer over Wi-Fi using Octoprint and a Raspberry Pi
I like being able to control all my printers from a single browser on my computer or an app on my phone, so I'm a big fan of Octoprint. I've been using it with the Snapmaker for a while when 3D printing and I've had a few people ask me questions about it. So, I decided to put together a video on the basic setup.
I don't talk about setting up the camera in this video, that will be coming in a future one, along with timelapse stuff. But this should at least get you up and running so you can control your Snapmaker from the desktop.
To keep things simple, I used a Raspberry Pi 3B+ for this, although it works fine on the Raspberry Pi 4, too. I just happened to have a Pi 3B+ handy, so that's what I used.
