Screw conveyor in work with grain
The auger in the tray of modular construction is an effective way of horizontal movement of cereals. In the video • Винтовой конвейер the screw conveyor is 7 m long from two sections.
On the device there is an electric motor for 4 kW for a 380 V network. A 3-brook creep drives the auger. The diameter of the turn is 250 mm. On the auger 300 rpm.
On the shaft there is a keyed joint, which is much more durable than bolt joint. A self-lubricating graphite bushing made of PTFE is installed instead of the bearing. Such material is not subject to corrosion, does not require periodic or additional lubrication.
The maximum permissible angle for the screw conveyor is 30 degrees.
Characteristics of screws in the trough, manufactured by VS-Ukraina:
• section from 100 to 500 mm;
• length from 1 to 100 meters;
• productivity of 10 - 100 tons per hour;
• screw thickness from 2 to 8 mm;
Screw conveyors can be closed, open type or with lids. Suitable for outdoor use.
