This Staircase Leads to a Hidden Underground World
After a short break from exploring, I'm back with a fascinating journey into one of the lesser-known defensive structures of Dover Castle — the East Demi Bastion.
In this urbex and military history exploration, I descend deep into the bastion and uncover a network of hidden tunnels beneath the castle's defences. What started as a simple exploration quickly turned into an unexpected discovery as I found old graffiti and initials left behind on the tunnel walls, some appearing to date back to the 1920s and wartime era of the 1940s.
