Ghana’s $342 Million Ofankor Nsawam Road Project - A Drone’s View
This video highlight series of scenes of the Ofankor Nsawam Road Project under the construction of Maripoma Enterprise Limited. The project involves the construction of a 2-kilometre road with eight lanes and a 16.85-kilometre road with ten lanes, extending from Ofankor to the White House stretch. Eventually, two extra lanes will be added to the dual carriageway with two more service lanes to the adjoining communities.
Three lanes will also be added to the Pokuase to Nsawam dual roads to make it five on each side, with an additional provision of nine pedestrian footbridges and an underpass. There will be provision for wider drainage systems, streetlights, road signs, and pedestrian walkways.
This road project links Nsawam to Kumasi and is part of Ghana's National Route 6 (N6). The project is expected to be completed within 24 months.
