PhotoJoseph Q&A: Turn Off Autofocus on GH5 and Shoot Without Lens on GH5?
Time to answer a few of those lingering questions from the comments… we begin with a few shorter answers.

Show Productions asked: "Hi Joseph, I got a steal on a used Olympus, and I'm trying to use the Olympus Zuiko Lens ED 70-300mm f4.0-5.6 with my Lumix gh5 for video only, I bought a 4/3 to micro 4/3 adapter with auto focus, I don't need or want auto focus, but when I attach the lens the focus ring grinds as if the auto focus is on, (I turned it off on the lens). I don't know how to turn it off so I can focus smooth, the ring is smooth when it is detached from the camera. I've been looking all over the internet and decided to finally ask you, the expert! Please help, thank you so much for your help!"
