Dr Heather Holmes Ross is the Mayor of the City of Mitcham and owner of the Artisan Cafe, Blackwood (Australian Cafe of the Year 2017). Prior to these roles, Dr Holmes Ross conducted research into using lasers to study collisions between small molecule at Flinders University.
Dr Holmes Ross has identified transparency, service deliverty, sustainability and a "yes" council as her priorities in her role as Mayor.
In addition to discussing small business impacts and Council response to the COVID-19 pandemic, Dr Holmes Ross answered Webinar participants pose questions.
