Splitting SOLIDWORKS Parts into Multiple Bodies
The Split feature can be used to cut a part into multiple bodies without removing any material, which is useful for 3D printing, mold tooling design, assembly development, and more. Planes, Surfaces, and Sketch Lines can be used as Splitting Tools to split the part as precisely as needed.
