Finally managed to finish something for dear Raye's Roll for Initiative contest.

My prompt was: "They got what they wanted. And it changed them in ways they didn't imagine."
I also needed to include a film genre of my choice, so i chose "psychological thriller."
I also made an optional roll for a 2nd prompt buuuuut... i wussed out lmao
I wound up basing my video on an original novel I'm writing. Though this is more of an AU of it lol.
Story: Damalia, sister to King Adair, resents her brother's soft-hearted rule. She takes matters into her own hands, assassinating him, and taking the crown for herself. She is a warlike queen, sending out her armies to take what she wants and executing those who stand in her way. But the guilt over killing Adair haunts her and she begins to see visions of him everywhere. He never speaks, just stares at her, looking betrayed. She slowly loses her grip on reality, and winds up in a battle she can't win. As she falls, she sees him one final time and she knows she'll be with him soon.
