Jeep JL & Gladiator JT aux switch wiring made easy with KC HiLiTES®
In this how-to video, we'll show you how to connect KC HiLiTES® pod lights to the factory auxiliary switches in a Jeep Wrangler JL or Gladiator JT. This easy process from KC HiLiTES® allows you to use your existing factory wiring harness without cutting it.
Taylor demonstrates how to wire your accessories to the Jeep's aux switches. This process is for Jeeps that came with the factory "Trailer Tow and HD Electrical Group" package. You will learn which wires correspond to each aux switch, how to prep the wires by stripping and crimping on a new connector, and how to finish the install by grounding the harness to the Jeep. This is a simple and effective way to power your KC® lights and other accessories.
**** The connectors we used are in the link below. However, we were told that Jeep also included heat shrink tubing and terminals for these, but we couldn't find them in our brand-new Jeep.
