Quick Sew | Gift Card Envelope | Free Pattern
I had a ton of vinyl scraps from this faux vinyl roll I got from Hobby Lobby, and some gift cards I want to give out this year, and I had an idea! a gift card envelope! Here are the instructions:
Materials:
1 - 2 1/2" x 8 1/2" strip (1 per gift card)
Snap set with tools:
Sewing machine :)
That's it!
Instructions:
fold your strip together with the short sides in towards self and place on cutting mat and trim 1 curve inward and 1 curve outward on the opposite side.
Taking the Concave side fold up 3" (wrong sides together) and Pin
Sew at 1/8" up from bottom of 1 side and all around top to the other side
Mark 1/2" from Top center and poke hole for male snap
Mark 1/4" from inside pocket top center and poke hole for female snap
Squeeze with snap tool.
Place in your gift card and BOOM, you're done!
