After selecting this option, change the import format according to your preference by choosing the citation format you want to use. When you have selected the format, click Save to store the changes. Next, return to the main Google Scholar page. After returning to the main page, click the search bar on the website. Type the title or keywords of the article you want to find. Press Enter on your keyboard to start the search for the article. A list of articles related to your search will appear on the screen. Then scroll through the results to find the article you are looking for. Carefully look at the titles and information in the search results until you locate the correct article. After finding the article, look below the article entry for the citation export option. Click Import into followed by the file format you selected earlier in the settings. After clicking this option, the file will download automatically to your computer. Next, open the file that has been downloaded from your browser. When the file opens, you may be asked to choose an application to process the citation file. Choose the application you want to use to import the article citation. After selecting the application, click it to continue. Then the file will be extracted automatically into the application you selected, and the citation information from the article will be added to that application.
