We’re back at it! Coming straight off the burnout at Goodyear, we hit the road to Summit Motorsports Park in Norwalk, Ohio for the biggest single-day drag race on the planet — Night Under Fire.
In this episode, we kick things off with our now-traditional 0–60 mph rental car test (because… how could we not?), and then it’s full throttle into race mode. You’ll ride with us as we head through the pits, get a few test hits in, and go behind the scenes of what makes this Top Fuel operation tick.
I take you into the driver’s meeting with Summit’s own Bill Bader Jr., and through one of the biggest autograph sessions you’ve ever seen in drag racing. Then, as the sun sets and the track lights up, it’s go time.
We line up against Antron Brown for a wild side-by-side throwdown, laying down a monster 3.68-second run to move into the final. Waiting for us? The one and only Justin Ashley — the guy who’s had our number lately. The atmosphere? Pure electricity. The crowd? Massive. The racing? Unforgettable.
