Vibe Seaghost 110 - 6 Month Review
After 6 Months of Paddling the Vibe SeaGhost 110 my overall thoughts on this kayak have changed quite a bit. Originally I viewed this kayak as a budget kayak with some stability issues that was a pretty fair value. I know view it as a kayak that is more than a budget kayak, way more stable than I originally thought, and a great value.
Can you buy a better kayak? Sure. Can you find a better kayak for under $1,000. I doubt it.
Here is my original impressions video - • Vibe Sea Ghost 110 - Overview and Initial ...
This Kayak tracks well, is very nimble, and is quite a bit faster than I thought it would be. It is light so top loading isn't an issue and the fact that it comes stock with a rudder is pretty awesome.
There are some drawbacks. The center console takes up a lot of space. It does provide some storage which is nice but if you value deck space you will be a little disappointed.
Take this kayak for a spin or maybe purchase it at the Headwaters Kayak Shop in Lodi, CA. The guys at The Headwaters are really cool and total pros so if you are in the area be sure to connect with them.
