How to Produce an Audiobook for Audible / Audio Editing Tutorial for Beginners using Audacity
Go behind the scenes as I begin producing an audiobook for Audible / ACX - a leading audiobook platform. This may serve as an audio editing tutorial for beginners using Audacity as you see how to edit as I work on the opening scene of "The Scrooge of Bitcoin" by Paul W. Samuelson, due for public release this November 2020 on Audible.com & iTunes. Likewise use this as a guide on how to produce an audiobook in general, as I talk about some of my creative processes and considerations.
Yesterday I shared my recording process for this book ( watch it here: • Recording an Audiobook for Audible : How t... ) and now I need to tackle the editing. But where to start?
Here I take you through my first steps, including what I look out for and listen out for as I begin audio editing. I also take some examples from other projects and share my thought process when working on my various audiobooks for YouTube and elsewhere.
