Manta at SeaWorld Orlando
Manta at Seaworld, see the only flying roller coaster of its kind in Florida, Manta, on this head-first, face-down inverted coaster.
Manta is a steel flying roller coaster that opened at SeaWorld Orlando on May 22nd, 2009. Manta is manufactured by Bolliger & Mabillard (B&M) and can be found in the Sea of Shallows area of the SeaWorld park.
The Manta roller coaster is named after the way rays, Mantas in particular, appear to fly through the sea, the Manta Coaster slogan is Dive deep, Fly High. Manta has a height of 140 feet, a top speed of 56 mph, and a track length of 3,359 feet with 4 inversions,a pretzel loop, two inline twists and one corkscrew
To ride the Manta coaster, guests need to be a minimum height of 54 inches (around 137cm).
Manta features a dual station configuration, which allows two trains to be loaded at the same time. After departing from the station, the train will make either a left or right turn, depending on which station it leaves, into the 140-foot (43 m) chain lift hill. The coaster then makes a 113ft downward right turn into a 98ft Pretzel Loop and into an inline twist. Manta then heads into a corkscrew and the mid-course break run before dropping again towards the water into a 270-degree turn with water jets spraying up toward the guests on the coaster. the coaster flies by the waterfall into a second inline twist and into a brake run before returning to one of the stations.
Manta's trains are designed to resemble a Manta Ray as well, with a track that is dark blue with light blue supports. The coaster can accommodate up to 32 riders per train, with a total of three trains in operation at any given time. The ride duration is approximately 2 minutes 30 seconds, with riders experiencing speeds of 56mph (90km/h) and 3.7 g-force

SeaWorld Orlando is a theme park and marine zoological park, in Orlando, Florida. It is owned and operated by SeaWorld Parks & Entertainment. When combined with its neighbors Discovery Cove and Aquatica, it forms SeaWorld Parks and Resorts Orlando, an entertainment complex consisting of the three parks and many hotels.
SeaWorld Orlando opened on December 15, 1973 as the third SeaWorld park to open. SeaWorld Orlando has two sister parks, Discovery Cove which opened in 2000 and a water park, Aquatica which opened in 2008.
