BEST New Drum Software | Blueprint / Abe Laboriel Jr. / Handy Drums / Klevgrand OneShot!
If you’re interested in virtual drums, you gotta watch this entire video! It’s full of tips and criteria you need to know for the most realistic sounding acoustic drums.
This video is a thorough review and demo of 4 lesser known drum apps that I feel are the absolute BEST! Each offers multi-sampled, velocity layered acoustic kits or multiple kits, that rival the market leaders. They range in price from free to $59, which means high value for a small investment. These are the new kids in the drum software VST world and they’re changing the landscape.
I struggled myself for some time, evaluating the market leaders and the cost of buying additional kits and expansions. I didn’t want to join the masses and use what everybody else is already using. I knew there were better options and new apps to consider. I explain why mutli-sampled drums sound so much more realistic than single sample players, while a demo the drums from each of the 4 vendors.
