A space reservation on a Nutanix storage container reserves space exclusively for the selected storage container. The storage amount supplied in the space reservation can not be used by any other storage container except for the one configured. Storage reservations allows for guaranteed storage space for the selected Nutanix storage container, regardless if the storage container is using it or not.
