Recording picamera overlays
A demonstration of the up-coming capabilities of picamera 1.13 which will include the ability to inject Python-based components into the MMAL pipeline capable of rendering overlays in recorded streams (amongst other things).

No, that's not post-processing
That's being rendered, encoded, and recorded live
The only post-processing I'm going to do is to add some music
Now ... don't get too excited
This isn't released yet,
and the API is still low level & quite complex
(I'm working on a simpler one)
and various factors mean it won't work at high resolutions
(720p max, realistically)
But hopefully it's still an exciting feature!
Which Santa might just deliver in time for xmas :)
