I got this Cut Out Turbine Engine miniature kit for free for making this video from Stirlingkit. All parts are made out of plastic except bearing, shaft rod, bolt and screws. By the texture all the parts look like 3D printed with ABS filament but painted to look like metal and it works. The assembly process is quite easy and satisfying by looking the build video on the product page, but there are missing screws, 4 of them but can be replace by any screws that fit, so no problem. It will be better if there's a sound module with turbine engine sound with it. The end result is quite remarkable for display on your desk. You may want to paint the cable matte black so it's not too visible.
