Chewing and Swallowing Challenges: Eating with Infantile Cerebral Palsy - My Personal Experience
In this video, I share my experiences with chewing and swallowing difficulties in individuals with infantile cerebral palsy (ICP). People with ICP have difficulties controlling their muscles, making eating a challenge. I explain how I concentrate while eating to avoid choking or injuries, and why proper food preparation and presentation are essential. I emphasize the importance of remaining calm and taking appropriate action if choking occurs, and explain how I still enjoy the taste despite these challenges.
