The ULN2003 Darlington Array
Relays have the disadvantages of being slow, electrically noisy, and requiring somewhat larger currents to operate. They also can not easily be used for speed control of motors. The better alternative is to use the ULN2003 darlington array. This video explains its operation, connections, and use with the development board.
