Ireland's must-attend silage and grassland demonstration event came to life on Wednesday 29 April 2026 at Cuffesgrange, Co. Kilkenny – and what a day it was!
Organised by the Irish Farmers Journal and supported by FBD Insurance, Grass 2026 brought together farmers, contractors and machinery enthusiasts from across the country for a day of live field demonstrations, expert insight and hands-on machinery action across 40 acres.
In this highlights video, catch a glimpse of the mowing, raking, baling and full silage harvesting systems working side by side in real farm conditions – with independent expert commentary from the Irish Farmers Journal machinery team on set-up, output and operating costs.
With almost 100 exhibitors in the trade village, including McHale, John Deere, Kverneland, Cooney Furlong, Martin Equipment, Lynx Engineering and many more, there was plenty to see, compare and talk about on the day.
