Jupyter and Codespaces
This video demonstrates how to set up a newly created GitHub Codespace for use with Jupyter Notebooks. Along the way, we demonstrate how to: (1) install some important extensions for VS Code (the code editing software we're running on Codespaces); (2) install and use the Python package management tool called "uv"; (3) and how to set up and test a new Jupyter notebook.
The first half or so of the video focuses on the core workflow, while the latter portion dives into some of the internal mechanics of how "uv" works and why we're using it. You can feel free to skip the latter portion if you just want to get up and running. If you do watch, please pardon the ambient noise from a fire truck towards the end :)
