I'm visiting family in Massachusetts for the holidays. This is where I grew up and where I discovered comic books for the first time. So I give a quick summary with video of the area I grew up in and visit my first comic book store.
Then I move on to my choices for the top ten comics of 2017. This was not an easy decision! I have a lot of runners up. Runner ups? Hmmm.
Anyway, folks like Tom King, Jason Aaron, Rick Remender and Ed Brubaker really brought their A-game this year. And there were a ton of fantastic books by Fantagraphics, Drawn & Quarterly and even smaller indie publishers.
