“BLOOD-STAINED” POETRY LINES OF HAN MAC TU
It is normal for anyone in the world to fear pain, whether it is physical or mental pain. But what if one day we suddenly lose the feeling of pain? Will we feel relieved and then become reckless, challenging all limits or will we be scared to death when we see ourselves as nothing more than a soulless body? Actually, this is not such a far-fetched fantasy. There are many reasons why we lose that natural feeling. Physically, we have to mention one of the four incurable diseases of ancient times - leprosy, and mentally... you guess what! "When you leave, half of my soul is gone. Half of my soul suddenly goes crazy".
Today, let's go back in time with PKD to the poet Han Mac Tu, a poet and also a miserable person whose body had to fight against that terrible disease, and whose soul was helpless before the departure of his loved ones, so that we can somewhat imagine what those experiences would be like in the eyes of a poet with a bare, thorny writing style. In this video, let's temporarily forget reality and step into the misty world, where the moonlight slowly shines on the white dress fluttering outside the cold window... to touch the crazy, blood-stained poems that Han Mac Tu once wanted to burn.
