Our third lesson on the Perfect Mitered Corner, besides showing another way to finish the piece, also includes a tip for increasing the size of a piece.
If you only have the right amount of base fabric but want a larger piece, the trick is in this video!

I used a 4 cm ruler, but you can use any size.
