Lourdes Hymn "O Vierge Marie" (Immaculate Mary)
The final hymn being accompanied at the Salford Diocesan Lourdes Pilgrimage Closing Mass on the 3-manual restored Cavaillé-Coll. At the end of the fourth verse, the music director suddenly indicates for everyone to join in the last verse (there should have been 10 verses in total) and so stops are quickly pulled out for the big finish. There is spontaneous applause at the end as the pilgrimage reaches its conclusion after a week of prayer and Marian devotion.
