From this Video You can learn How to Control Line Weight from Layer Properties Directly Without Pen Setting. Line weight of drawing object is controlled by plot style file or from Layer roperties Manager. Controlling line weight from layer properties manager is the another way of representing your drawing with proper plot style & line weight of object in Auto CAD. Using this ethod you can control line weight & color directly from the layer properties manager. You do not need to set up pen style file. When you sending drawing/dwg file to your client do not need to send the pen style file. Any representation is possible by this ways. You can also show some object color and some are black and white setting color in the layer properties manager.
