Alexander Povetkin
Russian former professional boxer Alexander Vladimirovich "Sasha" Povetkin was born on September 2, 1979 in Kursk, Russian SFSR, Soviet Union. Povetkin is one of the best heavyweights in the sport, is famous for his power despite being one of the smaller heavyweights. Throughout his professional career from 2005 to 2021, he held the WBA (Regular) heavyweight title from 2011 to 2013, the WBC interim heavyweight title from 2020 to March 2021, and challenged twice for the unified heavyweight championship.
