With a little setup, Soulflayer comes in for just two mana and picks up flying, double strike, vigilance, trample, indestructible and hexproof from Zetalpa, Primal Dawn and Sylvan Caryatid. Then you patiently flay their soul.
After sideboarding, this deck is clearly vulnerable to graveyard hate like Leyline of the Void. If you suspect the Void, take out the more combo-y elements, replace them with Thoughtseize and voilà. You're playing a fair midrange deck.
