BMW N55B30 Valvetronic malfunction
Hello everyone. Today I'm having a BMW X6 with an N55B30 engine repaired. It's a good car with decent engine performance, but there are some issues. This particular example has a characteristic cracking noise when the Valvetronic system is operating. The repair was quite inexpensive; we found the actuator itself for just over $100, and the labor cost about the same. This is part number 11377603979—Valvetronic servo motor.
