Nissan Versa - Brake and Tail Light Bulb replacement (How to DIY)
In this video we explain how to replace the Brake and Tail light bulb on a Nissan Versa. In this case we show the procedure on the model year 2021.
First open up the trunk and find the two screws, which hold the housing for the light bulbs. Then push the housing towards the outside of the vehicle and remove the housing entirely. Make sure to be careful with the harness, which still attaches the housing to the body of the vehicle.
The brake and tail light bulb is located behind the black socket. Turn the socket counter clockwise by about an eight of a turn. Then pull out the socket together with the bulb. Now pull out the defective bulb.
The new bulb is of type W21/5W (for 2021) - check with your users manual I case your car is of a different model year.
