This segment of Tat-Stories comes from the Golden State Tattoo Expo in Pasadena CA, thanks Nikko for the invite. This Tat-Stories also was an international flare and requires translation from the one and only VAS - who acted as our unofficial Spanish translator. - THANKS VAS.

Our first interview is Lina Marie from Bogota Columbia via Salinas CA who only speaks Spanish and was being tattooed by a gal named Lorena who also started in Columbia as an artist. We started with Lina Marie's belly piece which was done in French and translates to "Death to the End". From there Lina talked about her experience with Columbia Tattoo artists and she has quite a bit. Lina let everybody know she really likes what Lorena was doing from a tattoo perspective. Lina let us know she is getting another sleeve next - music to our ears. To close it out Lina flipped around and hiked up her shirt to reveal one epic back piece which had an Indian flavor.

Our second interview is with Lyndsey who was walking around with an epic arm piece and she was scooping artists to figure out what she wants next. Lyndsey let us know she was trying to do a piece that remained her of depression and she's got a dead tree scene to do just that. She's got the reminder og the dark and the connection to the light all in one upper arm sleeve. Great work Adrian. She let us know having that piece on her body makes her feel better and lifts her up. We would have loved to see her leg piece but just cannot hike the old jeans down in public. Lyndsey talked about getting her first tattoo and the fact that she was actually glowing - damn cool. Her artists really out her at ease by listening and communication - remember that when you are looking for an artists that will contribute to a great experience for you.
