The pneumatic shear has a cutting capacity on hard plastic of 4.0 mm and on soft plastic of 5.0 mm. It uses an FD-6 blade and has an air consumption of 112 l/min (4cfm).
Function
The pneumatic air cutter is fed high speed air from the bottom of the unit, which powers the cutting head. When a material that needs cutting is positioned within the head, manually squeezing the handle on the nipper activates the shearing action of the blade. The nipper can also be used for crimping, bending, and grabbing according to specific needs.
Applications
The air powered pneumatic shear is ideal for environments where copper, iron, and other hard materials need to be cut quickly and in large quantities, such as in construction, automotive, industrial settings.
