The Battle at the Kalka River! Kotyan Khan Campaign #2. Age of Empires 2 Definitive Edition Gameplay
The second scenario of the new Definitive Edition campaign, Kotyan Khan - The Battle at the Kalka River. Played on hard, this is quite tough and this wasn't my first attempt. Subotai and his Mongol horde from the east finish off the Rus before attacking the Cuman tribes, while his allies the Tatars have set up camp (apparently this involved constructing two castles overnight) in the west. To progress, we need to destroy the Tatar encampment before we succumb to the Mongols, so the surviving Cumans can flee safely to the west.
