An example of parametric modeling using Autodesk Fusion 360 to create a simple two piece container.
A parametric model allows the model dimensions to be altered with ease. In this example, the dimensions of the simple two piece container may be altered in three dimensions (length, width and height) and in wall thickness, using the Autodesk Fusion 360 "Change Parameters" menu along with parametric modeling techniques similar to those shown in this video.
My previous parametric video ( • Autodesk Fusion 360 Parametric Modeling: ... ) will accompany a future Instructable (Instructables.com). This video, hopefully, is somewhat self explanatory.
FInal note: I'm not advertising or promoting any product or website, and receive no compensation for this video. I simply enjoy learning Autodesk Fusion 360, posting here, Instructables.com and other sites, and 3D printing on Ultimaker printers.
Designed using Autodesk Fusion 360, sliced using Cura 3.5.1, and printed in PLA on an Ultimaker 2+ Extended and an Ultimaker 3 Extended.
P.S. Sorry about the misspellings...
