The ILCE-3000 is the first E-mount camera to feature an SLR-style body, which should attract people who prefer the shooting style offered by conventional interchangeable-lens cameras. Its size and SLR-style form become appealingly balanced when an E-mount lens is mounted, and its grip was designed based on the results of market research. For example, the grip was enlarged where it fits in the palm to improve handling by those in the main target areas, where users tend to have rather large hands.
