Automatically add the result to a textbox without pressing a button | SUM of two or more Textboxes
You can use the "Control Source" property of a text box in Microsoft Access to automatically calculate and display the sum of the values in two or more text boxes without pressing a button. Here's how:
Create a form in Microsoft Access and add two or more text boxes to it.
In the Properties window, select the text box that you want to display the sum in.
In the "Control Source" property, enter an expression that calculates the sum of the values in the other text boxes. For example, if the names of the other text boxes are "TextBox1" and "TextBox2", the expression would be: =[TextBox1]+[TextBox2].
Save and close the form design.
Open the form in Form View to see the result. The value in the text box will update automatically whenever you enter or change the values in the other text boxes.
Note: You can also use other functions in the expression to calculate the sum, such as the "SUM" function, or you can use expressions to perform more complex calculations.
