A graduate of Eton College and the Royal Academy of Music in London, he is one of the youngest conductors in Russia ever to hold such a post and has conducted a number of other prominent orchestras across Europe. In this interview, he discusses how he determines his take on a piece, communicating with the orchestra, and the importance of always being curious about the world around us.
