(PS yes I know it's "Atmel" I've just never managed to get right haha)
In my next project I am flashing an Atmega4809, so for this I needed a UISP programmer, which I did not have. It turns out that with the great work of the Arduino community and ElTangas, this is doable with MCU's we likely all have laying around!
This of course also works with the newer versions of the Nano that have the Atmega328p MCU exactly the same - just pick your processor in the Arduino - Tools menu as appropriate.
